Arrogance Only Kills the Human Inside – Who Do You Want to Nurture – Arrogance or Humanity?

Be Humble

Blank pages, have you ever looked at them carefully? What do they make you feel? For some a blank page is like a disappointing void and for some, the opportunity to build whatever they want.

It is all about perspective at the end of the day. We all look at the same things differently according to our life experiences and learning in life. I was recently at a place that was quiet, beautiful, and free of clutter but suddenly everything changed. Suddenly, the place was buzzing with commotion. Soon, I saw a man getting out of a luxury car along with police guards.

Be Humble

The hotel staff mopped the floor and a table was arranged and rearranged to please whoever that affluent person was. The hotel staff slouched with their eyes on the ground to serve the man. I’d never know who that person was but about 6 people were assigned to serve his table. He looked proud of who he was and was enjoying all the attention that he was getting. The question is – was he someone great, someone revered and someone nice or he was someone who had power and means?

On the other hand, was a man wearing all black, holding a quiet meeting with two guys on his side. He too came in a luxury car and I was told he does a lot of social work and he is always there for those who need his help. I do know his name but I will not mention the name here. He had no air about who he was and no trumpets were blown to announce his arrival. He certainly wore designer clothes, little flashy to be honest, nevertheless, branded but he was walking around like any other person.

Be Humble

The point I am trying to make here is that quality speaks for itself. You could be a huge personality or someone with a huge persona but what distinguishes one from another is the attitude towards life. It is about not taking yourself too seriously and letting your actions do the talking.

It is being humble and grounded that earns the real respect. Money can make anyone bow before you but the real victory is when you win someone’s heart and they bow before you with all their heart. But, somehow we are all to consumed with showing off, with enjoying the insignificant and with boasting.

The real pleasure of life is in giving and simplicity. Not trying to preach here but if this blog post makes even one outlandish person think twice then it is victory and the best investment of my time.

Be Humble

A big Thanks to all those who will be reading this.
